With over 20 years of experience creating award-winning exceptional experiences across all brand touch points that have produce positive results for the brands he has worked with, Kelly has lead teams on innovative digital and experiential marketing projects that push the confines of traditional advertising through out his career.  

Kelly is currently working with the Razorfish team as a Group Creative Director on the Samsung digital channels. He has helped lead launches for several products like the Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy Note20 5G, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Watch Active2, and the Galaxy Tab S7, with a nimble focused team that has “executed flawlessly” (client quote) and produced 90% ROI for Samsung. 

He has worked on break through creative for Innocean’s client Genesis Motors America, helping to conceive, design and launch GMA's innovative 'Genesis Valet' test drive application and website, combining the ease of online scheduling of a test drive with the simplicity of learning in-depth details of the vehicle and the Genesis brand before a customer is greeted for an in person experience wherever they may be.  He was also heavily involved in growing the Genesis brand’s social presence 250% and increasing overall social engagement by 335%.

He also lead the design and development of a new Genesis.com that has a completely new immersive customer centric digital experience that contains a first to market 3D configurator and another notable project was a first to market Instagram Stories video configurator that elevated the Genesis brand to a new standard within the automotive industry.

Kelly has also provided creative vision, strategy, and direction as SVP Creative Director at Garage Team Mazda. He has demonstrated experience in building and providing strategic digital vision for teams within a start up agency for the Mazda automotive brand. As well as leading the brand in a complete pivot of its entire digital ecosystem, growing the social media channels for Mazda over 2,800% during his tenure there.  

Some other stand out accomplishments have been the Yaris Virtual Test Drive site that mimicked Google Maps functionality at Saatchi & Saatchi. A user could drive the Yaris through interesting neighborhoods in 5 different cities across the United States, introducing to people to stores, restaurants, and cafes that aligned with the Yaris customer as well as demonstrating features of the car. The Yaris Virtual Test Drive site was a People's Choice Award Winner at the Webby Awards and Communication Arts Magazine's Site of the Day. He has been cited and interviewed in Guidelines for Internet Success by Rob Ford from The FWA for the work on the Yaris Virtual Test Drive site.

For the Prius Living Billboards, designs were created using actual flowers and were planted and grown on the side of 8 freeways in Los Angeles to highlight the Prius and its connection with environmental consciousness. The Prius Living Billboards was Cannes Lions Short Listed and shown in the Pasadena Museum of Art and Design. 

The Hyundai Equus Owner's Manual was a first ever digital owner's manual where users could learn everything about the features of the vehicle, schedule service appointments or find the closest dealer to them. This project was rolled out at the launch of the Apple iPad. Innocean partnered with Apple to supply iPads for every new Hyundai Equus to replace its paper owner's manual, another industry first. The Hyundai Equus Owner's Manual has been featured in Apple's App Best Practices presentations. 

Leading digital design departments in many types of agencies from boutique design studios to large advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, Rubin Postaer & Associates, Innocean, Sapient, Hello Design, and Razorfish has been a specialty of Kelly. 

He has been recognized for his work by many award shows including Cannes Lions, Communication Arts, Webby Awards, I.D. Magazine, One Show, How Design, ADDYs, FWAs, Creativity, and W3s.  

When not working on projects with the Razorfish and Samsung team, Kelly has been an instructor at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA with its Art Center at Night program. Teaching and mentoring students in several areas of digital creativity.
